Pfingtsberg was a €32,000 yearling. From a good German family, he’s bred to stay and will make into a middle-distance three-year-old.
Purchased from the Baden Baden Yearling Sale for €32,000. We have purchased this colt in a 50/50 partnership with Australian Bloodstock, who raced his sire Protectionist to win the Melbourne Cup. Protectionist has not covered large books of mares, but had his first crop of 3yos running this year with promising results.
The dam, Peace of Paradise, is a full sister to a Listed horse and this colt was our pick of any by the sire in the sale. We were willing to spend considerably more than the €32,000 we paid to secure him. He is doing well at David Simcock’s and could be competitve in novices later in the summer.
