Filly, 2 yrs
Sire: Lord of England (GER)
Dam: La Reine Noir (GER)
Trainer: Ilka Gansera-Leveque
This filly is out of a half sister to Group One winner Lady Marian who is the dam of this year's St Leger contender Loxley.
The dam's progeny are better than they may seem at first glance.
The first foal was widely touted as Luca Cumani's Oaks filly and earned a rating of 86, through placing in very hot maidens - four of the six fillies who finished ahead of her earned black type and two won Group Ones.
The second foal Lennox is by the disappointing Maxios, but has achieved a similar rating in France.
The dam is by Rainbow Quest, one of the most consistently successful broodmare sires and this is a very appealing outcross pedigree when the mare retires to stud.
This filly has a great outlook and moves fluently. Though a mid April foal, she is a strong filly, who should be able to run by late summer. We intend to keep her eligible for the top German fillies' race, a Group 3, which is run very late in the year, but closes nearly twelve months beforehand.
She will be broken in and given a month off before going into training in October.
She will be campaigned at two in the manner of a horse who will come into its own as a three year old. We would expect her to debut in the second half of the season, so from July onwards.
